I care about making a difference in the world. In making life better, more equal, and more joyful for the people and systems I interact with. I  have been very lucky to have worked with incredible people throughout my life, in a variety of fields. I've learned so much about history, education, criminal justice, public health and housing. As a leader, I've learned that the subject matter is not as important as finding ways to create  environments where people can feel safe admitting what they don't know, and giving suggestions for how to make things better. 

As a consultant, I use what I've learned leading teams to help organizations to achieve results. At the same time, I have a passion for creating environments where staff find meaning and joy in their work and customers feel respected. I have experience helping leadership teams identify why they are not achieving their goals, figuring out why morale problems persist, how to plan for the future of the organization, and how to build and support strong teams.

I don't have a prescribed method of working with organizations. Each agency is unique, with their own history, and personalities, and opportunities. I start by meeting with leadership to understand their concerns and goals. I then work collaboratively to ensure that I am providing the support that can assist agencies in achieving their goals.
